BEAUTY ENTREPRENEUR & EDUCATOR

Meet Briana Rodriguez.

A story of surrender, forgiveness, and using success to serve.

Briana Rodriguez is a beauty entrepreneur and educator with a heart for serving others and sharing the hope she has found in Jesus. Growing up, she experienced challenges within her family that led her to believe she could only truly depend on herself. As a result, she began placing her identity in independence, achievement, and success, believing that accomplishing enough would provide the security she was searching for.

Although she was building a successful career, behind the accomplishments Briana struggled with anxiety, resentment, and the constant pressure to control her future. Her curiosity about personal development eventually led her to investigate the teachings of Jesus. What began as a search for peace became a journey of surrender as she realized that she was never meant to carry life on her own.

Through her relationship with Christ, Briana began experiencing transformation in her heart, relationships, and purpose. She learned to forgive her family, trust God beyond her own understanding, and view her business as an opportunity to serve rather than simply achieve. Today, she believes the greatest thing Jesus has given her isn’t success, but a transformed heart and a desire to use her life to love others intentionally.

Her heart for 15 More Minutes comes from recognizing how meaningful everyday conversations can be. Through her work and personal relationships, Briana has witnessed how simply listening, asking questions, and being present can create opportunities to share the love of Jesus. Her desire is to intentionally pursue people who may not know Christ, helping them feel seen, valued, and loved while pointing them toward the same Savior who transformed her life.

COMMUNITY BUILDER

Meet Kameryn Jones.

A story of grace, freedom, and finding belonging in Christ.

Kameryn Jones grew up in a Christian household, but her journey toward developing a personal relationship with Jesus was shaped by seasons of loneliness, isolation, and learning what it truly means to surrender to God. Born in Louisiana and raised across five different states, Kameryn spent much of her childhood constantly moving. Without the opportunity to build lasting friendships, she often felt like an outsider, searching for a place where she truly belonged.

As she grew older, her desire for acceptance led her toward unhealthy influences, while private struggles with pornography left her carrying guilt and shame. During the COVID-19 shutdown, after moving to another new state, Kameryn found herself in one of the loneliest seasons of her life. Although she had grown up knowing about Jesus, she struggled to believe that God would still want her despite her mistakes. Through church camp and a season of intentionally seeking the Lord, she began understanding His grace and what it meant to truly surrender.

As her relationship with Jesus deepened, Kameryn experienced freedom from pornography and discovered the importance of Christian community. After moving to Texas, she became involved at CyLife Church, where discipleship, serving with children, and leading small groups continued to strengthen her faith. Through these experiences, she learned that her identity was not found in the acceptance of others but in Christ, who had never abandoned her.

Her heart for 15 More Minutes comes from knowing what it feels like to be overlooked, isolated, and afraid to share personal struggles. Kameryn desires to create the kind of community she once longed for, where people feel heard, accepted, and genuinely loved. Through intentional conversations and authentic relationships, she hopes to remind others that they are not alone and point them toward the same Jesus who met her in her loneliness.

FATHER & SERVANT

Meet Gavin.

A story of redemption, healing, and hope beyond the past.

Gavin’s journey with Jesus is a testimony of redemption, healing, and discovering his identity and purpose in Christ. Growing up surrounded by substance abuse, broken relationships, and childhood trauma, Gavin learned early on to hide his emotions and protect himself from the pain around him. As he grew older, he struggled with anger, loneliness, substance use, and unhealthy relationships, constantly searching for the love and security he had lacked growing up.

Becoming a father gave Gavin a new sense of purpose. He dedicated himself to personal growth and building the family he had always dreamed of. But when his relationship with the mother of his children ended, he found himself in one of the darkest seasons of his life, struggling with hopelessness and questioning his future. It was during this time that a coworker shared the gospel with him, introducing Gavin to the love and hope found in Jesus.

Although Gavin initially believed following God would restore the life he had lost, he eventually learned that true surrender meant trusting God’s plans rather than trying to control them. Through his relationship with Christ and the community he found at CyLife Church, Gavin began experiencing healing, forgiveness, and a new understanding of family rooted in faith. Today, he has a heart for people experiencing brokenness, abandonment, and hopelessness, reminding them that their past does not define them.

His heart for 15 More Minutes comes from experiencing firsthand how one person’s willingness to share the gospel can change someone’s life. Just as a coworker took the time to introduce him to Jesus during his darkest season, Gavin hopes to be that person for someone else. Through intentional conversations, genuine relationships, and sharing the hope of Christ, he wants others to know that no matter how far they feel from God, they are never too far for His love to reach them.

DISCIPLE & SMALL-GROUP LEADER

Meet Niko.

A story of transformation, discipleship, and true belonging.

Niko’s journey with Jesus is a testimony of transformation, finding true belonging, and discovering the power of discipleship and community. Growing up in a Catholic household, Niko knew about God but never understood what it meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus. As his family drifted away from faith, he followed a similar path. Throughout his teenage years, he struggled with pornography, unhealthy relationships, betrayal, and loneliness, often turning to soccer as an escape and a source of belonging.

During his freshman year of college, Niko began witnessing a transformation in his sister’s life after she gave her life to Christ. Through her encouragement, along with her boyfriend Nathan and a close friend, Niko began attending Young Adults. What started as simply showing up for social events eventually led him to a worship night in February 2025, where he experienced the Holy Spirit and made the decision to surrender his life to Jesus.

Through discipleship, Scripture, and Christian community, Niko began finding freedom from his past struggles and discovering a joy he had never experienced before. In December 2025, he chose to be baptized as a personal declaration of his faith. As his relationship with Christ grew, he and his sister began sharing the gospel with their parents, who eventually began pursuing Jesus themselves. Today, Niko leads a Young Adults small group, serves in children’s and student ministries, and disciples others just as someone once discipled him.

His heart for 15 More Minutes comes from understanding how someone’s willingness to consistently show up, extend an invitation, and invest in another person’s life can lead to lasting transformation. Niko desires to be that person for others, especially those who feel disconnected from God or unsure where to begin. He believes that one intentional conversation, invitation, or act of discipleship can become the beginning of someone’s journey with Jesus.

LABOR & DELIVERY NURSE

Meet Nerea.

A story of compassion, presence, and being seen by God.

Nerea is a 23-year-old labor and delivery nurse with a heart for helping others feel seen, heard, and loved through the hope of Jesus. Growing up, she lived in several places, including Colorado, Las Vegas, Spain, Phoenix, and Texas. While these experiences exposed her to different cultures and opportunities, constantly moving also brought seasons of loneliness. As an only child, she often struggled with building meaningful friendships only to leave them behind, questioning why God continued to place her in situations where she had to start over.

Throughout her life, Nerea also navigated differences in faith within her family, private struggles with temptation, and the pain of losing friendships. These experiences sometimes left her questioning where she belonged and whether she was truly seen. Through her relationship with Jesus, she began to understand that her identity wasn’t found in the people who stayed, the places she lived, or the struggles she faced, but in Christ.

Over time, God began transforming the very experiences she once questioned into opportunities for compassion and understanding. What once felt like rejection and isolation became a deeper desire to love others intentionally and remind them that they are never forgotten by God. Today, Nerea carries that heart into her work as a nurse, where she has the opportunity to care for people during some of life’s most vulnerable and meaningful moments.

Her heart for 15 More Minutes comes from understanding what it feels like to be lonely, overlooked, or unsure of where you belong. Nerea hopes to create spaces where people feel comfortable sharing their stories without fear of judgment. She wants others to know that no struggle makes them unworthy of God’s love and no season of loneliness means they have been abandoned. She believes that sometimes fifteen more minutes of listening, loving, and being present can remind someone that they matter and open the door for a life-changing encounter with Jesus.

These stories are an invitation to make room for the person in front of you.
